Summer Guitar Lesson Information

Fees and information for all Group classes:

•  45 min. per week    
  •  Fee:  $15 per lesson
  •  Materials:  $15 for book and handouts (Paid @ beginning of First Lesson)
• If you already have the book there will be no fee for the book.
  •  Class size:   maximum of 6 Students

Description of Classes and Meeting Times:

Group Guitar 1 (Beginner)   45 Minutes - Tuesdays - 9 AM, 10 AM, and 4 PM   June 7 - July 26

Class is designed for beginners and no prior musical knowledge is needed.  Topics include tuning, playing and strumming chords, reading chord symbols, how to read guitar tablature notation, rhythm notation studies, and other skills necessary to play guitar. Limit of 6 per class.

•  No previous musical experience is necessary
  •  Minimum age of 8 years old.
  •  Students must provide their own instrument

 

Group Guitar 2 (Intermediate Beginner)   45 Minutes  - Tuesdays 1 PM   June7 - July 26

Class is designed to teach more advanced chords and techniques. Basic chord and note knowledge from Group Guitar 1 is required for this class. Limit 6 per class.

•  Must have completed Guitar 1, or received special permission from the instructor
  •  minimum age of 8 years old
  •  Students must provide their own instrument

Private Guitar lessons- Private lessons are limited and meet once a week for 30 min.

Private lessons will be held on Thursdays.  If a Thursday does not work for you please ask for other arrangements. 

Ukulele   45 Minutes  - Tuesdays 2pm

Learn basic chords, strums and songs for Ukulele!!

Limit 6 per class.

  •  Students must provide their own instrument

 

Bass Guitar    45 Minutes  - Tuesdays 3pm

Learn the basics of how to play bass guitar.

Limit 6 per class.

• minimum age of 8 years old
  •  Students must provide their own instrument

There will be a one time $15 Registration Fee that is for the Book and Other Materials for Beginner lessons.

 Classes can be taken more than once if you feel you need more help in learning chords or songs.
